Wish Peak

Wish Peak (also known as Mt. Esu) is the tallest mountain on Sunit. It is located between the northwestern and southwestern continents, bridging them together. It formed after the crystal asteroid struck the planet eons ago, the impact of which forcing up earth on the other side of the world. Today, it is a very spiritual place, the epicenter for a special pilgramage for countless Cheskel.

Many Cheskel take a trip to Wish Peak at least once in their life, either as a rite of passage for their culture or to remember loved ones. It's a very common trial for Cheskel to climb the mountain to throw written wishes or their loved ones feathers into the atmosphere to join the ring around the planet. The trek isn't an easy one, but after countless generations and technological advancements, the mountain climb is fairly safe now. The mountain is blessed by being in the lee of most major currents, affording it very calm weather much of the time.
